Letter from our Head of School

We are excited that you are interested in the STEAMspark experience.  As you explore our website, twitter page, and photos on Instagram, you will see some of the “sparks” taking place. Whether it be in the SPARKhub or one of the prepared Montessori environments, you will be sure to see smiling faces and learning happening at any time of the day.

At STEAMspark, students from six weeks to five years-old have the option of a full day program, as well as joining the SPARKsquad, our afterschool extended day program. This program includes a rich Montessori curriculum with a STEAMspark flare with our one-of-a-kind SPARKhub. The SPARKhub is an interactive space where students can experience 21st century learning, science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics all in a fun hands-on environment. Students up to twelve years old are also welcome to join the SPARKsquad, our extended day program, and our summer enrichment programs.

You will feel the “spark” the moment you enter the STEAMspark. We pride ourselves on a clean, safe and prepared environment. However, even more exciting than our top of the line facility, is our well-trained and experienced staff, not to mention our top notch students. During a visit, we hope you see the “sparks” of excitement, feel the “sparks” with hands-on materials and equipment, hear the learning “sparks” taking place and ultimately become part of our STEAMspark family.

Our website is a helpful resource as you navigate the admission process. You will find information on upcoming events, steps in the application process, and so much more. Do not forget to follow us @STEAMsparkExp on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. If you still have questions, just pick up the phone and call.

We are honored that you are considering STEAMspark, and we look forward to having your child join our STEAMspark family.

Come “sparkle” with us!

Becoming a STEAMspark Student

STEAMspark Montessori Experience has rolling admission, which means that we accept applications throughout the year and accept students all year long. We welcome inquiries and applications from all families with children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years of age (depending on the program).

We invite families to meet with a member of our Leadership Team.

This is a good way for you to get to know more about STEAMspark and what we are doing for students. We can schedule this Preview for you, or you can schedule by using this Admissions Preview link.

We are currently doing Admission Previews on select weeknights. Once on our website, please select a time and date for your preview. Please note, you are required to bring your prospective student to the Admissions Preview unless your child is not yet born.

During this step, you will receive an invitation to Brightwheel (our student management system). We will also send you two forms from Brighthwheel that need to be completed at least 48 hours BEFORE your Admissions Preview: Application Form and STEAMspark Family Questionnaire. We also require you acknowledge receipt of our Parent Handbook prior to your Admissions Preview.

If it is determined that your family and STEAMspark are a good match, we will send you an invitation for a campus tour and a separate invitation for a Trial Day and Student Assessment. This is required for all Toddler and Primary students. Nido students will proceed to Step 3 of our process.

At this point, we will send you an invoice for your application fee and we will send you three additional forms in Brightwheel (Immunization Form, Statement of Health from your physician, and Photo ID’s of all authorized pick-ups. These forms need to be submitted prior to your Trial Day and Student Assessment.

Admission and Classroom Placement. You will be invoiced your deposit (this is your last month’s tuition). Payment of your deposit is what secures your seat and start date at STEAMspark.

Parent and Teacher orientation. We do this meeting either virtually or in-person. If it is in-person, we encourage you to bring your child with you.
